Callaway Odyssey White Ice Putter
3 Hot List Gold Medals, 1 Editor's Choice Award ... #1 Putter in Golf
When it comes to designing the best putters in the game, Odyssey yet again has proven to be the industry leader and the unquestioned #1 Putter in Golf. Odyssey came in atop the Gold Medal count in the putter category on Golf Digest's 2010 "Hot List", tying for the most Gold Medals in the test. In the blade category, the Black Series Tour Designs and White Ice lines both captured Gold Medals. Odyssey's third Gold Medal came in the Mallet category for the White Ice line.
 This year's Hot List included the return of the Editor's Choice Award, as each of the four Hot List judges selected one club to distinguish. Judge Mike Stachura, Senior Equipment Editor for Golf Digest, selected the Odyssey White Ice 2-Ball offerings.
"(Odyssey's) designs aren't typical, just better, and the new insert somehow plays firm and soft at the same time," Stachura wrote of White Ice. "Letting you adjust the weight on the new 2-Ball (for free!) lifts this effective old standby to new heights."
The White Ice mallet putters received a full five stars and were named the category leader for Performance, Innovation and Demand. The White Ice blade putters earned the full five stars for Performance, Innovation and Look/Sound/Feel.
The Hot List is a comprehensive golf equipment evaluation conducted by Golf Digest Publications' 32-person team of equipment editors, scientists, player panelists and retailers. Together they considered 403 separate entries for the 2010 Hot List, which features profiles on the best equipment in the game. The full results will be published in the February magazine.

PRACTICE FACILITY
Crofton Country Club is one of the only private clubs in the area to offer our members a complete practice area to perfect all parts of their game. In May 2005 we opened a 2 acres short game practice facility complete with a chipping green, two sand bunkers, bentgrass fairways and fescue rough to practice chip shots from a distance as great as 40 years. This unique facility was designed by McDonald & Sons to replicate any shot that a golfer may come acress during actual play. Together with our 7000 square foot putting green, long shot fairway bunker and full distance driving range, our members are able to practice every club in their bag.
